The Waggle Dance for Rotary

On Saturday April 13th, 11 of our students met outside the Ullumburra Theatre in readiness to perform “The Waggle Dance”, a dance about Bee preservation. The following girls – Maddy B, Charlotte B, Amaya O’C, Lexi S, Kadi S, Matti S, Abby G, Alexis M, Kezia T, Jennifer T and Layla A had been working hard to learn the dance during the last few weeks of Term 1. Our students were very excited to present this performance to the Rotarians after Costa Geordiadis – from Gardening Australia – had presented his talk about the importance of Bees in our world.

I am super proud of these girls who were absolutely fantastic “BEE” ambassadors and exceptional examples of Students from ENPS. Huge thanks for their efforts and to the wonderful parents and families who came along to support us on the day. To give up some of their holidays was truly amazing!    Thank you, Well done and congratulations on a wonderful performance girls!!

Ps. Thanks must also go to poor Lilly Jeffrey who trained hard but was devastated to unfortunately miss the performance due to car troubles in Melbourne.  Better luck next time Lil!
